Dulce Vida Organic 100 Proof Tequilas offer benefits beyond bigger alcohol content: concentrated flavor and bolder character. In cocktails, the higher proof tequila holds its own against mixers in a way that milder tequilas can not.
Dulce Vida uses organic agaves from Los Altos (Highlands) near Nayarit. The piñas are autoclaved (cooked using a pressure cooker) for 20 hours after which they are crushed and shredded. The fibers are separated from the aguamiel (honey water) which is then fermented with proprietary yeast. The blanco tequila is triple-distilled, is unaged, and is bottled at 100 proof.
